Big Little Ones is not about selling something, it’s about partnering with people committed to making the world better (although we do have something for sale...and it's amazing!).

By ages 3-4, little ones begin to adopt gender stereotypes. Girls see some things, like math and science, as being "for boys" and start to limit their potential. Girls are continually told what they can and can't do, and all too often are told their value is in their appearance. As adults, women are far more likely to underestimate their abilities and believe they don't have what it takes to be a leader. And so, GIRLS CAN! CRATE was born - a unique subscription box company "crated" by Big Little Ones, LLC to inspire and empower girls.

What we want for all girls is the same thing we want for ourselves - to be more fearless, just and loving. We want to inspire and empower girls to love themselves, love other people, and to believe they can BE and DO anything. To SPARK this in girls, we will introduce them to diverse women who have helped make the world better and who have defied what is possible. Throughout history, women have faced many challenges as a result of ugly things like sexism, racism, poverty and other forms of inequality, but they've also done so many incredible, beautiful things. And yet, we rarely hear about these women! Girls deserve inspiring role models to see what is possible.

So, join us in introducing your little one to fearless women like Bessie Coleman, Marie Curie, Clara Barton, Mother Theresa, Ida B. Wells, Susan La Flesche Picotte, Irene Sendler, and more. Together, we can inspire girls to believe they can BE and DO anything, to be their own unique selves and to grow more fearless, just and loving. To make a mission a reality, we will donate 10% of the proceeds from every single GIRLS CAN! CRATE purchased to nonprofit organizations working hard to support and empower girls worldwide.
